Acryl is rigid plastic with high transparency. There are two types of substrates ; one is molded material, the other is casted plate. Casted plates are difficult material for the ink to adhere. Some molded materials do not have good solvent resistance. STYROL INK is recommended for such a materials.
ABS has untransparent material with good impact resistance. Proper ink should be chosen taking the applications or desirable finish into consideration.(ABS=acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene)
Solvent resistance of these materials is not good. It is advised to choose the ink in which weak solvent is contained. Use STYROL THINNER to dilute these inks.
(HiPS=Hi-impact styrene, AS=acrylonitrile-styrene)
