700 SERIES SP INK
INTRODUCTIONS
700 SERIES SP INK has superior adhesion. SP INK adheres to the difficult substrates with its excellent adhesion.
APPLICATIONS
Nylon(molded matters, cloth), synthetic leather, urethane rubber, synthetic paper, acetate film, aluminum foil, plastic-plated surface
CHARACTERISTICS
- Excellent adhesion to wide-range substrates.
- Ink film is tough and flexible.
- Excellent resistance to oil, gasoline, alcohol and chemicals.
HOW TO USE
Dilute the ink with VINYL THINNER(fast drying, standard drying, slow drying)or PC THINNER. Add VINYL RETARDER or VINYL SPECIAL RETARDER to make drying slower.
DRYING
Nylon cloth : Approx.5-15 minutes(20°C)(68°F)
STENCIL & WASHING UP
Use photo-stencil. Use VINYL CLEANING THINNER.
COLORS & TYPE OF PACKING
Standard 16 colors. 1kg plastic container
PRECAUTIONS
- There are various types of water-proof nylon. SP INK may not adhere to some kinds of water-proof nylon. In this case, try 7000 SERIES NSP INK which has better adhesion than SP INK.
- Bronze powder cannot be mixed with clear ink to make golden color. The mixture has poor stability and gels. It is advised to add aluminum paste to clear ink and yellow ink.
- JA-960(fast reaction), JA-930(no-yellowing, slow reaction) orJA-940(no-yellowing, flex type) improves properties. Mixing ratio of these Hardeners : Ink : Hardener = 100 : 10. The mixture has pot life of 5-8 hours.
- Small cracks may happen when printed on synthetic leather as drying proceeds. Add JA-700 by 5% to the ink to improve flexibility. This prevents these cracks.
- Flexible ink film, which is one characteristic of SP INK, means poor abrasion resistance and soft ink film. Other properties are inferior to other two-pack type of inks. Although SP INK adheres to metal, it is advised to use two-pack type of inks, 1000 SERIES EPILITE INK or 2000 SERIES AP INK.
- Please refer to MSDS before use.
- Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
SP 790 BLACK is printed on urethane molded matter after diluted with VINYL THINNER(slow drying) and dried at room temperature for 24 hours.

- Lightfastness varies depending on the coating thickness and how the printed matters are used. Above value is obtained by exposing the printed matter at 45 degres to the south outdoors.Value in this information is obtained in experiment and no guarantee is implied.
- The above value is measured on dark colors. Lightfastness of pale colors is inferior to dark colors.
