RC TUM 64 SERIES
PREFAC
RC TUM 64 SERIES is low-halogen UV curable ink for untreated polyester film with better curing than RC TU 44 SERIES. Colored ink, which are not available in conventional 44 SERIES, are available in this series.
APPLICATIONS
Untreated polyester film, untreated polyester sticker
CHARACTERISTICS
- Good adhesion to untreated polyester.
- Ink cures at low integral light.
- Low skin irritation and safe.
- Low-halogen (Cl and Br are not intentionally contained as ingredients)
COLOR RANGE
white, lemon yellow, deep yellow, orange, red, geranium, pink, violet, deep blue, blue, green, black, clear: 13 colors, reducer
TYPE OF PACKING
1-kg-plastic container
MINIMUM CURING CONDITIONS
- Type of lamp : Metal halide lamp with air-cooling system
- Power of lamp : 120W/cm one lamp
- Irradiation distance : 10 cm (distance from focus)
- Conveyor speed: 15m/min (integral light 150mj/cm²)
PRECAUTIONS
- There are various grades in polyester film, which affects adhesion.
Please be sure to perform test print to confirm if sufficient adhesion can be obtained on the substrate, and if the product fits the purpose.
- Add reducer up to 10% to lower the viscosity.
- 300-350 meshes/inch is recommended. Please make the thickness of the sol below 10 microns.
- Solvent resistance of TUM 64 SERIES is inferior to that of TU 44 SERIES.
- RC TUM 64 SERIES is manufactured to order. There are normally no stock.
- Please refer to the literature "UV INKS" for general precautions for UV ink.
- Please refer to MSDS before use.
