META-MIRROR is evaporative drying type of ink which gives mirror-like surface by printing on the back side of the transparent substrates.
PC Silver and YK Silver for polycarbonate has newly become available. Mirror-effect on polycarbonate made by conventional mirror ink was not as good as that was made on other materials.
PC Silver and YK Silver produces excellent mirror-effect and its high viscosity and slow-drying make printing much easier.
Transparent plastics such as treated PET film, polycarbonate or acryl. The ink must be printed on the back side of the substrate. Industrial applications are recommended.
TYPE | COLORS | CHARACTERISTICS | TYPE OF PACKING |
---|---|---|---|
Standard | Silver | excellent mirror-like surface | 0.5kg-plastic-container(Other types of package are available.) |
Rich gold | |||
Pale gold | |||
Slow drying | PC Silver | high-viscosity excellent mirror-like surface for polycarbonate and acryl hign coverage. | |
YK Silver | high viscosity excellent mirror-like surface only for polycarbonate good adhesion. |
Thinner is not normally necessary. Stir well before use.
When lower viscosity is required, add Styrol thinner(fast drying) to obtain proper viscosity.
Use MM thinner for PC Silver and YK Silver instead of Styrol thinner.
Although the ink dries at room temperature(approx. 30min.), the effect is inferior to forced dried finish.
Substrate - Treated PET(188microns), Mesh - T270, Room temperature (20°C)(68°F)
Use Vinyl Cleaning Thinner.
